Eden Prairie Schools' i-Learn@EP initiative has given students and teachers greater access to technology. Every student has access to a device that provides them with an endless and immediate amount of content for them to absorb, learn from, and individualize to their particular learning needs and interests. Students in grades nine through 12 were the first to receive new devices in the fall of 2013. High school students received MacBook Airs to help prepare them for college through the use of word processing tools, and middle school students received an iPad in the winter of 2013. At the start of this current school year, students in kindergarten through third grade were assigned an iPad to use during the school day, and students in grades four through six were given an iPad to use both at school and at home.
